Three members are elected at large to serve four-year terms. Members make administrative and executive decisions for the Town of Avilla as well as for the Water, Electric, and Sewage Utilities Departments. Learn more about functions, responsibilities, and elections.
All meetings are open to the public, with the exception of Executive Sessions. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Avilla Town Hall.

Town Council Meeting Protocol/Etiquette
Phones must be silenced. Excuse yourself from the building quietly if you must take a call.
Pagers, radios, and walkie-talkies must be silenced. Department heads should designate a subordinate to conduct town affairs while the department head fulfills his/her administrative duties at the meeting to avoid disruptions.
There is to be NO OPEN DISCUSSION.
There are to be NO SIDE CONVERSATIONS during the meeting.
Town Council MAY choose to call upon guests to provide information.
