AVILLA – Avilla Town Marshal Glen Wills was recognized for 25 years of service as a law enforcement officer at the Wednesday, June 20th, Town Council meeting. Council President, Paul Shepherd, presented the plaque to Wills and thanked him for his dedication and service. Marshal Wills likes his job and remarked, “…I still enjoy coming to work!”
Marshal Wills started with the Avilla Police Department as an officer and approximately five years later, became the Town Marshal. He has almost 30 years of experience in law enforcement. Before coming to Avilla, Wills was with the Indiana University Police and the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department.
