The Avilla Plan Commission, in partnership with Restore Avilla, has developed guidelines for preserving historic buildings in the downtown central business district. The Plan Commission has also prepared an ordinance for regulating both commercial and non-commercial uses of solar energy.
A public hearing will be held for both proposed ordinances on Wednesday, July 6 at 7:00 p.m. in Avilla Town Hall, 108 South Main Street.
