Notice of Sale of Vehicles

NOTICE OF SALE OF VEHICLES

Notice is hereby given the Town of Avilla will receive sealed bids for the following two vehicles:

1988 International Digger Derrick S1900, 85,977 miles; manual 2-speed transmission, retired electric department vehicle. The vehicle is parked and may be inspected at Avilla police station parking lot, 117 South Main Street in Avilla, Indiana. The vehicle runs but will be sold “As Is”, without any warranty. All bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly marked “Bid for Digger Derrick.”

1982 Chevy C60 Dump Truck, 259,398 miles, diesel, 5-speed manual transmission, retired utility department vehicle. The vehicle is parked and may be inspected at Avilla police station parking lot, 117 South Main Street in Avilla, Indiana. The vehicle runs but will be sold “As Is”, without any warranty. All bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly marked “Bid for Chevy Dump Truck.”

Both truck bids will be accepted until 3:30 pm on October 19, 2022, all bids will be opened and read aloud at the Avilla Town Council meeting, on October 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in Avilla Town Hall. All bids received after 3:30 pm on October 19, 2022 will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

Bids may be delivered to Avilla Town Hall, 108 South Main Street, Avilla, Indiana during normal business hours, or mailed to Town of Avilla, PO Box 49, Avilla, Indiana 46710.

The Town of Avilla reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
