September 11: BZA Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given the Avilla Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 5:00 pm on September 11, 2023, at Avilla Town Hall, 108 S. Main St, Avilla, Indiana 46710, to hold a Public Hearing on a petition for a Variance from the requirements of the Avilla Zoning Ordinance. The petitioner is Andrew Ley, 205 Burgess Court, Avilla, Indiana 46710.

The Proposed Variance would reduce the front setback line at 504 S Main Street, Avilla, Indiana 46710, to 7 feet (in line with the north side house perimeter, extending east and west towards the garage), along First Street, from the 25 feet as required in Section 5.5A of the Avilla Zoning Ordinance for parcel number 57-09-34-100-269.000-005 (lot 60 &61 in Spencer and Wheeler Addition), in Avilla, Indiana.

The application for said Variance may be examined during normal business hours at Avilla Town Hall, 108 S. Main St, Avilla, Indiana. Said Hearing is open to the public. Interested persons desiring to present their views on the proposed Variance, either in writing or in person, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place.
