Avilla residents are receiving calls supposedly from Avilla Utilities telling them they are due a refund to be deposited into their bank account. It is a scam.
Avilla Utilities will never call our customers to inform them they will be getting a refund. We will let them know in writing. Residents should NOT give any personal information, especially bank account numbers to the caller.
